This residential project involves a major internal reconfiguration and transformative extension. The works serve to provide better connectivity between the lower and raised ground floors and integrate previously underused spaces into the main body of the house.
To unlock the properties full potential a ‘less is more’ approach was taken with part of the raised ground floor removed – creating a dramatic double height space. This brings natural light deep into the house, creating strong visual links and improved connectivity throughout the property
The works also includes a lower ground floor extension with a sunken terrace and steps up to the garden. A planted green roof to the extension improves the outlook from the upper floors of the property and enhances the biodiversity and character of the area.
